This project involved the renovation of an existing building, with Caspar Building Systems, Inc. honored to complete work focused almost entirely on exterior improvements with minimal interior scope. Following the construction of the new State Office Building next door, funding for this project was initially uncertain due to cost considerations. Through collaboration with the State, Caspar Building Systems was able to support a solution that allowed the maintenance building’s exterior to align with the surrounding downtown development.
One of the unique challenges of this renovation was the structural façade system. The project required a complex support solution to properly carry the decorative rock and masonry that define the building’s exterior, making coordination and precision essential throughout construction.
